Moon Phases

Moon phases (or lunar phases) are a natural rhythm of the sky. Over a cycle of about 29.5 days, as the Moon orbits Earth, the sunlit portion we can see changes—creating the familiar waxing and waning shapes that seem to grow, peak, and soften again in the night.
